I am inspired
Bitter fruit
Every message
Every flute

I hear a tune
Bitter Fruit
earth calls me
Into the womb

I have a soul
Bitter Fruit
Holding me true
Oh we brave few

My words now betray me
for no-one answers
They hate me
Oh Bitter Fruit
