When the mind trembles and the heart aches, when you feel alone and bitter. Like the world is a pathetic place, Then my friend you know my place.. |

It's not your place alone hon!! We all have that little dismal dark corner in our lives, a horrid place, a place none of us belong... I'll tell you this...... No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn..... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

My friend, it was once said, by a drunk I know of. "Hellll wwwee couldd gett moree in here iff wee were frienddds" Well we are all friends here and we are not a full house yet. and yes I know your place also, so move over. haha Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

I know this place of yours so very well! God grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it's me. ~Unknown |

A sad topic very well said in few words. Excellent piece! I only hope that you find a place of happiness soon. Unfortunately I have dwelled in this place for far too long as well Take care, Melissa Honeybee |

One of my favorite quotes is "If you ever start to feel yourself tumbling down into the dark abyss, just remember there will always be people down there to break you fall." It just came to my mind one day when I was alone and pondering things. I guess my point is that I agree with the others; you're not alone there. I once spent a loooooong time in that place until I met someone who shined light in those dark corners. Such a short piece with such a strong message. Nice work. ~* Megs *~ I was never one to patiently pick up broken fragments and glue them together again and tell myself that the mended whole was as good as new. What is broken is broken- and I'd rather remember it as it was at its best than mend it and see the broken places as long as I lived. -- Margaret Mitchell |

in the darkest corner there is light, you just have to look. I have been to the place many times, I curl up there and dream of fading into oblivion then I reemerge ready to face the world, great poem. ------------------------ "Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too? " Douglas Adams. "Here chewing your tail is joy" Richey Edwards "Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. Kill nothing but time". Baltimore Grotto "Do not listen to a word I say Just listen to what I can keep silent" Nicky Wire |
