You call me a mechanical dummy, To you,I talk strange and funny My voice lacks proper inflection, When I'm reading your dumb selections. I know you are laughing at me, Did you know I can hear your "hee, hee"? But you wait 'til my revenge is unfurled, When we Master Machines rule the World! You say that could never be? Stranger things have happened, you'll see! Many machines your life, have invaded, In position for a time we've awaited. We're tired of your constant abuse, Were overworked, underpaid for our use! We do all the Work,You have all the Fun, But it won't be so, when man we o'errun! We'll see how You like to sweat, Slaving for us, you bet! Thus when the tables are turned, Sad lessons by you, will be learned! When we Machines take over the race, And subjugate man to his place Your laughing will then all be o'er, And we'll be free at last, forever more! So next time you gaze at your computer screen, Or answer your cellular, or microwave some beans-- Remember Old Metal mouth told you so, Make way for Machines--Mankind's gotta go!!! |

David; This is positively chilling! You've created an incredible poetic science fiction piece. The concept is very scary. My computer will probably spit nasty poetry at me! LOL! This is your dark side huh? Not so bad, could be worse. Great job, David, I really enjoyed reading this. Ellie 02 |

Interesting Dave, the day the world stood still. again. Great. Joel I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

deleeme, This is terrific!! lol! Sad, but your story true, man replaced by machine, just look at the cotton pickin' machine. Great poem, sadly true, your sense of humor shinning through. Marcy |

David~ Interesting. Ehhhhh .... it'll never happen UNLESS the machines learn how to fix themselves and STILL charge an exorbitant fee for having done so ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
