I Smile Face to face Words exchanged Glances seen Emotions hidden Do you see my smile? It's worn for you It's a mask For the emotions I keep Betrayal lingers Confusion stirs Pain tingles Sadness weighs Lonliness blinds Love stays I smile Because you don't know me |

It's when your real face hurts the other person.. that you have to wear a mask.. You love them so much that you can't show that they have hurt you because you fear hurting them or complicating their life.. So I Smile.. |
