I felt the arrow Dig deep in my chest piercing my soul Your eyes do tell All around the host Sing our praises From the clouds Their voices raised How the sun of gold Beats down on a scene Long ago foretold Beauty unsurpassed unfolds Look down Onto the fields Look to the cities Look around and behold And the Past will come As the future has gone And all of tommorrow Now we see it has begun And the heavens will fall And the Earth is consumed The Sun Will grow large All to heavens tune Hello darkness, my old friend, I've come to talk with you again, Because a vision softly creeping, Left its seeds while I was sleeping, And the vision that was planted in my brain Still remains Within the sound of silence. |

And on that day wolves will rule and have wings. A great day? maybe. maybe not. I just work with each sunrise. But I must say I have felt this arrow also. great work here my friend. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

And the Past will come How the sun of gold Beats down on a scene Long ago foretold Beauty unsurpassed unfolds ------------- As the future has gone And all of tommorrow Now we see it has begun And the heavens will fall And the Earth is consumed The Sun Will grow large All to heavens tune ---------- Walter I LOVE this beautiful poem... I see your still being inspired by this "end of time" theme... this ones imagery is perfect, as always. take care my dark poet friend. jm It's amazing How you make your face just like a wall How you take your heart and turn it off How I turn my head and you lose it all ... And it's unnerving How one move just puts me by myself There you go just trusting someone else Now I know I put us both through hell ... I'm not sayin That there was nothing wrong I just didn't think you'd ever get tired of me And I'm not sayin We ever had the right to hold on I just didn't wanna let you get away from me. ~MB20~Leave |
