~Have you ever had a person say one little thing to you that just instantly fills your heart with sadness??? Well,...this just happened to me.

It's a wake up call to the blind here
a kick start to my heart
a slap of reality too bitter to taste
hearing it from another's point of view
seems more twisted than I thought
I've been fooled, I've been had
living a life I said I'd never have
seeing it from the outside in,...whew..
what a difference.
Instantanious sadness flooding me
face feeling flushed and eyes filling up
god,...I never thought of it like that before.
Never realized how crazy it's been.
It's been a wake up call El...
a kick start to my heart...
a slap of reality too bitter to taste.
Not sure if a thank you is due
not sure if I'm glad that I see it this way now.
Damn,...that means change is in the future...and I hate, hate, hate change. It scares me....it controls me at times. This wake up call is killing me,...this wake up call was due...this wake up call is bringing me...farther from you.

GREAT PIECE! I just had one of those recently myself and had to end a relationship that was doing nothing but killing me inside. I can totally relate to this. Well done!

Sometimes those wake up calls can be early warnings that tip you off to bad possibilities later on......hope you stay on top of things..

SF....Sometimes when we realize things are not always as they seem, it is devastating to us. Hang in there. The truth always comes out in the end. Great writing here!!

Change isn’t all that bad.
you know the next stall over may fit your butt better, and the paper may pull out easier, we as human beings tend to do the same things even until it kills us.
and Don't complain this wake up call usually happens on a death bed, you just got yours early enough to do something about it. haha
I'll howl for you tonight kid.
