In the dark.. held to the flame.. knowing that power.. laughter via insane.. half alive, yet half something yet untamed fear of me, slowing you.. fear of I searing my pain Light belies me noctourne desires.. Darkness...much to complacent But I am.. and who are you? and the dagger flashes forth... Hand upon hand.. steel in flesh.. Heart in the void.. Once I tought innocense the blame.. but now I know... Why the moth draws near the flame... Circles of sanity.. Collar of guilt.. Crest of failure.. Cascades of lost ones.. Crescent of lies.. A dark wind rising... Snuffing of what was left inside.... Then...the Dawn... ~Fin~ Edward A. Beerman |

Hand upon hand.. steel in flesh.. Heart in the void.. I've had this steel in the flesh, it does drive home a point , so to speak. and Yes I like this poem also. very aggressive. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |
