The Waiting Game

When the last drop hits the ground
While the sun goes down
After the flowers bloom
I slowly wait in gloom

As the sky comes undone
During the setting sun
Before seeds sprout
I slowly wait it out

Always the raining sky
Never will the sun die
In between death and life
I wait for my wife

Pass,
this is excellent...
great rhyme flow...
and it has a gentle peaceful feel to it ..
even though its so sad and moving.
very good work here.
take care, jm

Is it too much to find an answer,
Is it too much to hold you close.
Is it too much to find a reason,
Is it too much to free my soul --
From self control ...
And I know you're always waiting for me ...
You take me far away,
And I know you're holding me ...
And it's better now ...

As do I my friend.
We will wait together.
Joel.

I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.
