I thought if I listened to him, I would also be heard. I thought if I was there for him, I would prove myself loyal. I thought if i shared my heart, He wouldn't punch through yet Another gaping hole. Shows what I know, Standing here with my Swiss cheese soul. *****kynder The years teach much which the days never know. Ralph Waldo Emerson |

Why are the rules always different for them? Things we agree on being unspeakably horrible, suddenly are being done to us by the same person who at one time would have spit on that type of behaviour. It is craziness! It is unfair, and horrible, and they will do it again and again, while we sit and try to make some sense of it. I will stand there with ya girl. This poem cuts right through, leaving no questions. Good work sweetie. |

Kynder Oh this is way to close to my feelings right now. I thought If I was there, always there giving myself to help. But no, I too was wrong and am left while the ruins of my heart and soul. Wonderful Job, you've expressed it so very well... Damn Life is painful, but have hope for that is the only thing that lasts... |
