Did You relly Think (For Isis) Did you really... think you could help me! When I come here with my heart in a stink. When my soul flies to parts unknown. When my mind tortures this very bone. Second after second of wailing, within. And you think you can help this sin? When you don’t know a thing about me! And you can’t hear my voice of anguish pleas. When I’m just short of pulling the plug! When I hate the world for all this hurt,.. it’s a slug. When the only thing that seems to help me is writing my pain, pain, pain! Did you really think you could help me? Did you think you could touch me with gain. Well damn it you have!!!! Yea you’ve taken my heart what was left and some how soothe it, You have shown it some light this dark tunnel has parted Even in your time of need You gave out to me (us) How can you reach out from down under planting light seeds. How can you see me sitting in my chair pouring my soul out to the world. When I didn’t really expect a reply. And got you. ----------------------- When the world is at it’s darkest, you have the right soothing word, that makes the world right, not just for me but all the replies I have seen. You give yourself to this forum with your heart and understanding. Thank you for being there, I just hope we can do the same for you. Joel. I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

Joel (Dad) thankyou so much love... This is beautiful and heartfelt. I'm glad I was able to reach you a little, show you the light once again. I am glad when I can do that for anyone. I am here for you all and you for me. We are indeed a small dark forum family of friends. Joel hon, this brought a tear to my eye, it's nice to feel loved and appreciated. I love you (DAD) and remember I'm always here for you my friend/fellow poet, online Dad. Thanks for this lovely testament, I will print it out and treasure it always..
