River of Life

At first it's an explosion
Violent and uncontrolled
That must be my pain and anger leaving me
Then the flow slows
From explosion to a steady pulse
Sometimes strong, sometimes weak
That must be my confusion leaving me
The pulse slows to a weak stream
Flowing lightly
That must be my guilt and regret leaving me
The weak stream slows to a trickle
Like a tear from my heart
That must be sorrow leaving me
Another few seconds and I will be free

You've just compassed every emotion I've been through, from the flood to the last drop of pain falling. This is truly special for myself, personally, and I loved it, absolutely loved it.
First came the hurt, then the confusion, then the raging anger, then the tears, then hopefully, peace.
