Your actions of late make me
Regret the early.

I never should have spoken to you;
Touched, kissed and held you.

I never should have memorized your voice,
The rhythym of your name.
The way to your house remains
Burned in my brain.

And for it all, I sit here...
...longing for more;
Wishing I knew the secret knock to your door.

But I see you across a room-
Without even a flicker of recognition
From you,
And it reminds me, however so cruel,
That never,
No, never,
Should I have fallen in love with you.

The man here is blind.
and the knock three times if you want me.
like the song.
Great work.
Joel.

 I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.
