Aged Love. When age has come upon me will I still love you? When I take out my teeth at night? When I can’t reach the bathroom in time? When I can’t see who is at the door? When I don’t know how to tie my shoes? When I no longer know my name? When I get lost in the hallway? When I can no longer feed myself? When I can’t dress myself? When I can’t? When I can’t? When I can’t When I can’t find the words to express my love to you? And can only stare. yes. Joel. I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

Joel, True love knows no bounds.....time, space, age, etc. No need to worry, my friend. Those words will always come. Nice writing!! Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. Smith |

This subject has no boundaries including age. Probably the only thing that is beautiful about the aging process. I love seeing an elderly couple holding hands. It fills me with hope. Again you have touched me. Your muse must be a wonderful woman! helena |
