Sweet Breath.

To look upon your face is to see an angel on earth,
heart stopping still within my chest,
to gaze within your eyes is to swim love’s girth.

As my lips passionately seek yours,
I stay to catch your sweet breathe,
intoxicating my mind,
rendering thoughts of love that binds
you and I until death.

Lingering softly to feel your breast rise and fall,
to feel the life force with each heart beat within,
and the spirit that binds and guides us until all ends.

So guide your  flight  white dove of mine,
soaring the heady winds, of turbulent love throws,
your light in my heart forever will shine.

If landing upon my brow, the sorrow to take,
laughing heartily, my eyes will shine.
Without you my dove my heart does ache.
Without you my dove this heart isn’t mine.

My sole takes heed of your essence within,
a free spirit you truly are, not needing my
permission to fly, if I held the chains to our love,
I’d truly never let you go, knowing that,... would be a sin.

To catch a glimpse of paradise within your eyes,
our love couldn’t ever be surmised.
No --  stay your judgment,... this flight of yours,
follow this love, this wolf with wings,... that soars.

This love far more than any you have known,
it happens rare as time and history have shown.
My Juliet of Romeo, Helena of Troy,
our two hearts are one, can’t be love’s ploy.

We seek true love within, and all that can be,
mesmerized by your sweet breath, and last kiss,
lay to ease my searching heart, of lovers bliss
we seek our true hearts in you and me.

Love of my life, you truly are,
give you my all that I am, my love in life,
living for you my shinning star.

To my White Dove.
Joel.

Joel, this poem is just so beautiful. It made me yearn to receive these feelings you describe. So passionate, and strong.
I love it.

Whoever you wrote this piece for is lucky. Hope she knows so. I can only dream of the day I recieve something so beautiful.

An envious Helena

The words that come to me here fail me elsewhere.
Mute.
Made dumb by my own thoughts.
Tonguetied and awkward.
Tripping over my own voice.
A pen and paper for my voice.

Thank you my friends.
sKiTtLeS: I'm probably old enough to be your grand dad. hahaha... But love has no bounds...
HelenaJ: you will, And she must know, I have sent her close to 300 pages in 10 mounts, I have known her for about 3 years.
Irish Rose: you are.
Michael: From you that is a great compliment.
Thank you my friends.

you have a lovely heart and a talented poets pen...very nice work here...
yes, i envy miss dove as well
take care, jm

Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders
And it makes me want to touch you there.
And the light in your eyes makes me feel
Like there's something much better out there
Something kind...
And I know someday I might be looking around
Trying to find some purpose
Well purpose it can't be that hard to find
As long as I've got the wind...
The wind and your love to carry me.

Wow, Joel, this is absolutely beautiful!  Words cannot express how amazing this poem is.  This is the first poem that I have read by you, and I am so very impressed!  You speak of love so perfectly.

Take care,
