Rug You`re smiling, you`re smug You`re there on the rug you`ve got some kind of life You`re single or maybe got a wife maybe a husband and toss in a few kids the picture is this,you`re not on the skids outlook is good ,smooth as cheap wine By now you`re numb to the bumps,skips and grinds Hey thats life Then out of the blue on that sunny nice day Fate,destiny or some such crap comes into play your feet go flying,your ass is asunder life slams you so hard you end up totally under and under ain`t the place to be, believe me Because someone dear is gone and they took a piece of you with them how could they be so selfish and hurt you so bad stepping out of the picture ruining the plans you had they didn`t let on,never gave a clue or did they? and you`re left to wonder could i have changed things So years go by and the pain doesn`t sure it get`s easier but it`s always there and the part that gives me the worst scare is that it won`t ever go away so tell them that you love them and listen to what they say let them know you need them and that they always may come to you and talk to you and you`ll always be their friend i hope the rug you`re standing on is nailed and glued and screwed and it`s warm and soft,and oh yeah a nice color too and i hope it never gets yanked |

It is so rare when you see an older couple that have lived their lives without getting rug burns, to me this is a miracle. This says much. I like it. Joel. I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

once again, beyond words. i sat down the other day & read all your creations. being one that feels all this as well, i know telling you i'm here for you doesn't lessen your pain, but it helps mine. so selfish it may be, i'm here for you. please don't take it lightly. i have only throw rugs!!!! ha ha!!!! email k? *****kynder |
