My heart still aches
and bleeds with my tears
were you and I a mistake
as now I tremble with fear

My feet are on the ground
my head is in the clouds
my ear hears no sound
I speak my thoughts aloud

Surrounded by your love
was I really protected
that safety I heard of
that safety I expected

Trusting another will be hard
loving another will be a task
now I have to put up my guard
and love's now harder to grasp

My heart is still mending
my mind still thinking
good vibes you weren't sending
that alarm inside is blinking

I hate you is too strong
but I think that a lot
I loved you for so long
I guess you just forgot.....
