My love for you isn't hidden, So why is your's forbidden? I gave my heart to you, So why did you break it in two? I feel like being burned at the stake, Why do I feel it was all a mistake? I wonder if you would notice if I was gone, Would you be my friend, barely able to live on? Why can't you love me in return? It's not as if you would burn. Why won't you even give it a chance? Who knows, your strength might be enganced. Will you ever love me back? I feel like this is a one way act. What is it that keeps you away? I love you each and every day. But I'd rather be you friend, than lose you in the end. Love is our greatest weakness but when it's found, it's our greatest strength. |
