In your eyes I do not exist I am not really here In your eyes I do not care I am cold and callous In your eyes I do not love I am filled with anger In your eyes I do not change I am doing the same things In your eyes I do not accept you I am demanding and intolerant In your eyes I do not feel pain I am insignificant In your eyes I do not want you I am a non entity In your eyes I do not see I am blind to all you do Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. That was wonderful, lone wolf. Others see us as so much in their eyes, so much we are not. |

Hope, tears, and renewal, Thank you, I am glad you liked it. Very sorry if you can relate to it though. You are right, others do not always see the way we really are. Even if they are right there with us. Very sad. Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. Smith |

LW, sometimes, how we are seen is related to how we present ourselves. . .it's not right, but it's the way it goes sometimes. . . Excellent poem. . . I like the 3-line form that you use here. . . -------------------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

Sven, You are very right, but there are times when we present our true selves and are still not seen for who we really are. No, it isn't right at all. Thanks and I like the three lines form too. Something new I guess. Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. Smith |
