A Dreary day Clouds fill the sky Absent birds Ominous Quiet Air filled with the slat water of the gray sea Fog rolling in. Passing a Grand Church The Old Doors slightly parted A faint stench of Death lingering within Pushing the doors open, hearing the echoing squeaking A casket surrounded by Black roses at the front The Vast church, almost Empty. Only a handful of people sitting in the front pew Curious, more Drawn to the Casket. Walking up the isle, hearing nothing from the mourners Closer it is to me The smell from the Black roses overwhelming. I peak inside the Dark flourished Casket ABHORRED!! All color leaves my face Ice gripping my Soul can’t breathe The Body, Cold and Dead is ME How can this be? The mourners, turning to them My family;only. Uncontrollable tears They Vanish, no one in the church with me Is this my Fate? Alone for eternity Collapsed on the floor Yelling out into the impending void... |

great work!!! i love the style... what would it be...sorry i am unaware if it falls under any category...but it's was so well written... sad...but i loved it If all was light...then I would have never learnt the dark...from which such truth evolves from which evolves the light... Avanti Rao |

My friend Dhuron, I tell people that I walk down to the local post office, just to get my mail, but I really walk down to see if my name it on the inside corner where they post recent deaths. They see me looking up at the corner, and I say it’s a good day. And no you will not be on a floor yelling, there is more than that. Joel. |
