This story is old, about a broken and closed heart, one that has been forever told, in the beginning the very start. I had grown cold to the worlds woe, and the child in me that cried I had wrapped what was left of my heart buried it deep it had died. Then you came along with your baby blue eyes dug up my heart, you alone heard the cries. Our time together was almost more than I could stand a true life with you a woman me a man. I had never know such love and passionate bliss, you had opened my soul with just one kiss. Now it seems you are frightened of my love of being possessed you say you need your freedom and the opportunities missed. I have taken a step back and have given you your wings knowing I could never posses with chains nor strings. You opened my heart, and had taken it to your breast it no longer beats within my chest. You had given me I guess what you could of love now you fly my white dove. Now there is nothing left to carry, not even an empty shell Now there is nothing left to buried, as time has forever told, and will forever tell. |
