This is my first poem. I hope everyone enjoys reading it. I cannot see, I am overcome by darkness, I feel cold and alone, Is this a dream, I think not. Something dousn't feel right, I sense evil all around me, Where am I, My body feels numb, Am I dead. I feel scared, Where has everyone gone, I want to go home, But which way do I go, I'll follow the light. As I get closer the becomes brighter, The evil is fading, And the fear is becoming courage, Nothing can stop me, I am almost there. No, what is happening, I'm falling backwards, The evil is pulling me downwards, I must fight the evil, I know I can win. |

Welcome to Passions. Your poem came from the heart and that is great! I think most of us has been in ur shoes and it is a tough battle. But if you fight for what you believe in, you can win. To me the darkness is not a bad place, if you can hold your head above the water. But yet at times it can be lonely. Believe in yourself and others will believe in you! Leviathon, I have been where you are, and the evil has pulled me down several times. It almost seems like a never ending battle with it, but in the end you will prevail with the right support and strength. Your poem was sad and emotional. It's nice work.
