Avenging beast ever present in life, < !signature-->Sending hardship and doom our way, Lately it seems a constant battle, A tiring battle every day. Oh look! Someone is happy, Quick better send some trouble their way, Shadows of gloom soon descend, Now only darkness in their day. Personification of all evil, Intent on destroying us all, Taking away our sunshine, To conquer and destroy that is their call. Desolate and annilate, Eradicate another beautiful soul, Change them into one of your own, Let life take it's toll. Massacre and slaughter our world, Until all faith in love and God are gone, Spew forth evil and injury, We've been down so damned long. But know this! The powers of love are gathering, Gathering in number and strength, Together we shall denounce all evils.. A gathering so huge, The likes have never before been seen, A gathering of born again souls, There strength of love and heart coming from within. Then there will be a mighty battle, We shall rise again, Joined hands spanning the world, To put all evils to an end. So have your fun, For it won't last long, Look! Even more are joining us now, Unitedly singly our hope filled songs. Your reign of evil, Will soon come to an end, And once again, The world will be filled with love and laughter again. I know this is a long one, and I apologise, it just took on a life of it's own!! Isis I really like this! It is so true that it always seems that just when things are going well something comes along to muck it up. But I'm glad to see that there is strength and a ray of light to bring us through. |

another strong poem isis...yes, love and good will overcome...it just must!!! well written poem of defiance!! take care, jm she said I dont know if I've ever been good enough, and I'm a little bit rusty, and I feel like my head is caving in. ...and I dont know if I've ever been really loved by a hand thats touched me... and I feel like somethings gonna give... and I'm a little bit angry. matchbox20 |
