She cries when she thinks about her dreams, She sobs when they remind her of what she could be. For there's nothing to do, nothing it seems, That'll make up for a future that she longs to see. It was once so great, it still seems it as well. On those days when everything's in its right place, But often times those dreams are shot to hell. And on those days she must hide her face. Will it ever be ok again? she screams, Will my dreams be the life that I live? Or will my life not be a thing like my dreams? No matter how much I dare give. So she looses herself in those thoughts of her own, She spends all her days in her mind. And she dreams many dreams that no one has known, And prays one day her dreams she will find. |

This was quite wonderful. Go out and make the dreams happen, or so I've been told by a few. don't wait, make them happen The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship." --Ralph Waldo Emerson |

this was so perfect in every way. it was like i was standing in front of a mirror. this has been my life. it's like, i know i have the power and the ability to bring some of the dreams to reality. but there's this fear, a crippling fear, that as soon as i take those steps, and get soooo close to making it happen, someone pulls the string that is attached to it, and i'm farther back than when i started. till eventually they get blurry, distant, and fade away, forgotten. it has happened so many times already, actually, every time. i'm surprised i haven't given up. anyway, thank you for the incredible read. |

Will it ever be ok again? she screams, Will my dreams be the life that I live? Or will my life not be a thing like my dreams? No matter how much I dare give. ******* Such a powerful poem, and on this stanza I could almost hear you scream out the questions. Questions that are so familiar to me and I can relate to so well. Hope... It is as if you can see into my soul here. This was an excellent piece. As you said, you never know what it will be like in the future. Hope it is good for us both. Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. Smith |

An old sale’s man said to me “Joel if you try 100% I grantee you will loose 75%. But that 25% is glorious, but if you don’t try but 50% you loose. This poem is a 100% do. Joel. |
