Some will never get it, Never understand that which we seek, Accusations, clinging, jealousies, They are the ones who are weak. And they forget the little things, That make a difference in one's life, Music, words, laughter and love, Mother Nature, the sea, Heaven above. They try to fit in, They pretend to understand, Living in falacy, Pretense by their own hand. Feigned interest and sympathy, They are fooling themselves, They refuse to see, The goals we've set, the realities that be. I'm big hearted enough, To wish them love and luck, Peace and true inner discoveries, But I fear they'll always fail and in a sense be stuck. No answers to their questions, No inner light burning so strong, Wondering why their lives turned out this way, Wondering where they went wrong. So my prayer is simple, Everyone who pretends should have their day, When the realise all truths and injustices, When they embrace true inner happiness and it's ways. There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

Exactly Sea! But in my scenario a few people don't even realise that they are these 'fakes', they don't 'see' anything, especially in themselves. And I'm big enough to feel sad for them, for they are missing so much.. so true! there are so many who have no inner light or desire to learn how to be happy...simply satisfied with an superficial existence! i like this, isis! |

They can't see the light that burns In their soul each day Their fake facade is blowing out The fire that lights the flame Wounded by a world their living in Where nothing's pure or right Living in the dark Not even seeing their own light!
