Stamp out the blues
Think pink!

Get rid of the red eye
Don't cry

Hold up your chin
And say
I'm a winner today!

Even if you don't believe it
You just might begin to feel it!
Because Spring begins
When one beam of sunlight
Is Cast down
While the chill of winter
Is still in the ground.

I liked this one. Made me smile..and perhaps I am a winner today.

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship."

Dear Septsong: I just popped in to read a little, and there was your wonderful poem! Joy! I love it! We seem drawn to each other in friendship and we know who did that! This is a lovely poem and I can relate. Love, Ellie

You guys are all winners! Remember God don't make junk! Glad to spread a little sunshine, sometimes it get a little too dark in here, but we all have days like that, makes you appreciate the good ones. Sort of like we never appreciate the water till the well runs dry. Sometimes I have to write to cheer my own self up, to be honest I am a moody person. Maybe that's a writer thing, I don't know. Anyway glad you liked it, thought you all might think it a bit silly..
