Once again I visit the forest of tears, I've occasionally seeked shelter there, On and off throughout the years, A lonely place where sadness dwells. No need to speak in this special place, Here we need only speak with our mind, Share our woes and worries, Leaving old troubles behind. I enter the emerald rainforest, Feel her peace caress my being, I share my fears and tears with her, She blesses me with awakened feelings. She allows the sun to shine through the overhead canopy, Her sunlight gently caresses my skin, She listens as I cry and question, She answers with love and a gentle grin. I draw my strength and courage, To fight another day, She whispers of peace and love, Just like our surrounds today. She reminds me I am not slain, That I can stand again, That I have not to answer at the throne of God, She gently lifts my pain. 'Go forth now my child,' 'Your strength and love are enough to carry you!' 'The secret is all so simple little one,' 'There is ever present love, hope and strength in all that you do!' 'Share this true beauty,' 'You can overcome all pain.' 'Remember Nature and all my teachings,' 'Within you lies the end to all pain!' I was hesitant to leave her, Never felt a love such as this, Wanted to stay oh so safe with her, In my cocoon of bliss. But my real life was calling to me, My son, husband and family, One glance back over my shoulder, And I was returned to my reality. I leave with the knowlege fulfilled, Knowlege of who and what I am, And knowing what my time on Earth is finished, I shall join her in that fabled beautiful land. Assist her in her teachings, Steer the wayward back on their paths, I too will become a teacher of truth, beauty and love, I will be filled with the true gifts of love.... There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

*Giggles giddy* I just loved this the forest and glade took to my fairy side...lol but it has a dark sort of enchantment to it , like something the grand miss Nicks would scroll.....love your work Isis you truly are a gift to the world hun!!
