I once loved you below a pink moon
Underneath a sky so very blue
You once looked into my eyes, kissed my cheek
And said you loved me too

I once loved you under a sun of yellow fire
In the midst of roses and sunflowers
You once held my hand, kissed my lips
And talked with me for hours

I once loved you beside reflecting water
Lying in a field of grass so very green
It was easy to love you as you kissed my neck
In the middle of that beautiful scene

I now love you underneath an old roof
With children calling my name
The scene has changed, no longer so lovely
But I love you more, if not the same

Very nice first poem. It tis so true how the scenery changes but the love remains unchanged. Excellent story line for this poem.
