~Song of the Wolf Sage~

Don't worry, young cub!
Your time will come --
To grow up fast,
To play and run.

Why so glum, my dear, young cub?
Your time will come --
To go your way,
To home and mate.

Be patient, young cub.
Your time will come --
To make your home,
To lead and love.

Look now, young cub!
Your time has come --
To leave the past,
To hope and run.

i like the reference of children to young cubs...but isn't this a hopeful poem...hmm...why is it posted here?

this idea just came to me--how about a cynical way of telling the young cub not to grow up that fast?this will sort of make a sharp contrast right.... ")

something like this,

Play all you can,young cub
for tomorrow you face the hash realities
of the jungle world
where ferocious creatures surge to bite
where menacing animals stab you
so that you may hurt

Play all you can,young cub
For you won't be able to
tomorrow

Perfect reflection of how we all, mankind or beast, must grow up, leave the nest, and start our lives on our own.  Sweet piece

May the world hug you today,
With it's warmth and love.
I pray it whispers a joyful tune in your heart,
That tell you there is a friend sitting in another corner of the world,
Wishing you well and
wishing you love......
