Sadness It feels that I’ve known you all my life In the good times and the bad times you are always there with me I feel your presence with every heartbeat You are the last thing on my mind when I go to sleep And you are the first thing that enters my mind when I awake I’ve often wondered how I would feel if you left But you are always quick to remind me that you will never leave me You are my sadness, and I don’t know where I end and you begin.  |
