Winged beast flying beyond the battlements,
Ever threatening, flying in low,
Your razor sharp talons, longing to pierce heart and soul,
My dreams created you, oh why won't you go?

I look out the window hole,
And you are there!
Such menace and threats you convey,
A frightening burden I cannot bear.

Poisonous barbs from the beast extend,
Aimed at mankind each one,
Not knowing what will trigger an attack,
Not knowing when you'll send our world undone.

Feeding on horror and fear,
You're growing stronger each day,
For my innocence you shed a tear,
Disaster and warnings this day.

Bringer of war, horror and starvation,
I summoned you with my desperation,
Oh Dark Master I beg of thee,
Give me another chance, end this subjectation.

For my heart is pure,
You only focused on the anger in me,
Leave old Iverness oh Leige,
And set my people free.

I will prove myself to you,
Prove my love and power,
As a daughter of Merlin himself,
I will not hide in the tower.

So Dragon Knight have we sealed a deal?
That light, love and power will prevail?
No longer we'll live in this prison,
We'll praise the light again when you and your darkness have risen.

May the world hug you today,
With it's warmth and love.
I pray it whispers a joyful tune in your heart,
That tell you there is a friend sitting in another corner of the world,
Wishing you well and
wishing you love......

Isis, this has a lot of creative imagery I feel. Dark for sure.

Poweerful, Isis. Love the reference to Merlin and the dragon knight. Remember...it is darkest before the dawn. Just love your writing.

that is so cool! really it is! i love all that dragon, Merlin stuff! the whole light triumphing over darkness is very well done too!
