Tears stream down my face Inside I feel pain I close my eyes hoping that the pain is gone I feel it burning forever turning. Burning out of control Never going to ashes. Never fading to black. My heart scarring black You scream mistake I feel it taking over my body Fire surges through me I can't see I am blind I long to feel again This pain stays beside me It hurts It surges through my soul Twisting my soul into a black whole Light can't escape Demons invade my mind Always paranoid that they are out to get me Why can't they see What they are doing to me Insanity surges through my veins Never knowing what to do next Insanity fills my head I see you standing there Laughing at me Pointing at me Haunting me Taunting me Never letting me be Carpe Diem... |

WOW damn powerful poem here... bone chilling and heartbreaking... the images of the fire and scorching were superb... very good work jm Now for me some words come easy But I know that they don't mean that much Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch You never knew what I loved in you I don't know what you loved in me Maybe the picture of somebody you were hoping I might be jackson browne |
