Dear God, answer my prayers, close their eyes, I hate those stares, so cold they petrify chase away my pain, mend my heart, and wash away the stain, pre-set for a new start hold my hand, hold up my head, strengthen my legs so I can stand, wipe every tear I shed brighten every single day, so I may not walk in darkness, I know you hear every word I say, and with every word I am blessed my head hurts so bad, my heart cannot beat, constantly I am sad, I declare defeat. |
