TRUE LOVE True love is a desire that comes to us all! Our hearts longing and deepest call. The true love that we inspire in everyway, One that many will give their soul too for pay! A quest in life that can illude one, Leave you feeling totally undone! Searching high and low to seek it's reward, Exhausting even the cleverest by it's stinging sword! Oh to hold it..........what a lure that intoxicates! To embrace it.....is what drives us to find that perfect mate! It is the completion of our destiny, Our greatest of achievements into eternity. If we have to steal, beg or borrow for all that love truly is, We will go to the uttermost so we can drink from it's abyss!!!! True loves divine treat! Oh just to taste how sweet!!!!! Oh how illusive.........and how hard to find! Once you find it............to your heart forever it will bind! True love come quickly to teach me your ways, Or I might break down from my past and the failure of unloved days. Show me the power to rise above this earthly fear, Give me a love that will always be here! One that is powerful..........overcoming and strong, I need this truth before too long! My heart will not hold out on this craving, I need what only love can do in it's divine saving! I need you true love! Please help me to rise above. Rise above the cares of this life, With all it's unhappiness and strife. I need your lasting effect that makes life truly worth living, I need to learn all about loves sacrificial giving. A love that is true and from the heart, One that will last until we part. |
