Black. I feel the black. I feel darkness all around me Enclosing me, stifling me Hot breath of pending death The spectres return to haunt With visions that tease and taunt I feel like crying, Or laughing like a child With a frown, I hang my head down And know not whether I’m coming or going My senses take leave Yet somehow I see forever And it is grey Grey as today I’ve reached the point in life Where it is a longer way back Than where I am going But I am going; It is the one thing I am sure of |

JML, Great poetry on a subject that receives undeserving attention. I think we need to consider this facet of everyday life and, then, maybe obtain more respect and personal understanding of it. A |

Blackness surrounds you, open your eyes, and let the light shine on your soul, let the life take control, and maybe one day it will take you were you want to go, cuz the day isnt grey, go out and play, like the child with a grin on his face, and take life like a child with a slow pace, like a child love life for what you do not see, the hate and all the complexities Bring me more words, I like the way you think. Much love, One love PEACE |
