Accross the world
Accross the seas
The Ice king walked
To find loves tree

He sang to the mountains
And sang to birds and bees
Of the lonely life
That his travels had been

Through the dark lands
Under the seas
Traveled the Ice king
To set his heart free

He stood in awe
Of skies of gold
As he walked in fields
Sprayed with cold

As he travelled
On the air it comes
A voice of beauty
With words his own

He had seen much
And travelled the winds
Spoke to Eagles
And Fought demons and kings

Yet never had his heart
Felt the lightness of this
So he set away toward the sound
Of the angel for a kiss

As he approached
A tower loomed
Built of rocks
Instilled with gloom

At its height
The angel sang
In dress of white
And wings of satin

Undetered the king did climb
Up the tower to the sky
Passing clouds and birds
singing him on as they fly

Up and Up the king ascends
Past the last cloud
And into the heavens
To the angels sang aloud

Their she sat on a throne
His heart was lost now
And love filled him whole
The ice kings heart melted now

Their love was pure
Their love was strong
Their Rule was true
Their Rule was long

Pride of place in the human race goes to one without a trace,
of subtlety style ego or grace for this position, I wish to say, i would be proud as i am greater than any other face in the crowd

I smiled when I saw the title...this was a perfect and beautiful ending to ths creative tale. And a happy ending at that!! Not your perfered style, I know...(smile)

A happy ending in dark passions? *S*...who says its not possible? It fits perfectly. Loved this saga, like an epic of old.
