In retrospect I often journey Slipping into that frame of mind When everything is gone for awhile Except for the endless skies above And below, my thoughts spill forth; Random wanderings of timeless echoes Find solace in the hope of tomorrow Yet when the winds of apathy Whisper words of long gone days, The grip on my throat becomes Like icy fingers of maliciousness And there's some childish laughter Off in the distance somewhere I close my eyes in quiet desperation With different shades of mind, Lost in my silent embracing dream Waking from darkest dawn With other innocent dreamers We arise with bright grey eyes Knowing full well the darkness lost: Acquiescence, the final cost |

JM Now for me some words come easy But I know that they don't mean that much Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch You never knew what I loved in you I don't know what you loved in me Maybe the picture of somebody you were hoping I might be... Jackson Browne *I miss you baby... I love you...always. |
