A new day arrives And all I see Are the barriers In front of me I wrap myself in Sunshine and happiness With equal parts, Despair and darkness I’ve walked this far To turn back now Giving myself only What I can allow Standing on a cliff Under brooding skies The retrospective haze Burns my eyes Tears well up and Fall softly down My cheek, Unto the ground And there at my feet Rises a mist Parting the reality Of all this And I wipe my face, Shivering cold Not much longer Here can I hold Time becomes tangible As if in a dream Doomed to drown In an echoing scream Part of me looks To the sea The other, to the sky Where I longed to be But everything’s changed Changed forever somehow Life as I knew it, It’s all over now |

Jackson Browne *I miss you baby... I love you...always. |
