My big re-entrance to the Forum! Yay! Now, this poem isn't my best...or maybe, it is. But I doubt it...well, here it is! A maiden, her skin making snow seem dirty and impure, appeared before me in a forest. "What do you fear most?" she asked of me. "Love." "Ah," she said as she faded away. Now a new figure appeared before me, a male, no older than I, and said, as he seduced my lips in a kiss, "Do not fear love. Reach for it, search for it, seduce it. Be in love with Love." This figure too faded away I was left to contemplate my new misfortunes, and who the maiden and her son were. 'Were they none other than the Goddess Venus herself, and her son, God Cupid? No, that cannot be, 'twas just my eyes playing tricks on me.' ~goddess of love, passion, and desire~ I'll be here...why? I'll be waiting...for what? 'll be waiting for you so...if you come here, you'll find me... I promise. |
