Many times before has time told me The harsh neccessity of my heart Telling lies from lessons unlearned Cold are the gates of hell The dreams dreaming about me Draining away from my serene sanity I will not be taken from heaven's gate Reality invokes more broken promises Adoring perfection crumbles after all Wishful thoughts could never be spoiled Waking, making, and faking life's truths Destiny finds not the doomed souls Forgiving mistakes, makes mistakens Graves underneath an open heart Old souls severed and stitched Holy hearts hold no faith Rendered in cries and screams Molded from saddness and sorrow Designed for sinning and loathing Breathing pessimism upon birth Outstanding protection for short periods Without God's overprotective hand One last chance accompaning a million second chances Taken with risks and effort He dies alone and cold Forgotten upon buried snow Withstanding winds and rain Proven right by wrong |

WOW!!! this one is DEEP and dark...and so VERY well written..I love the last lines message!! great piece of work..glad to see ya back pass...seems like its been awhile. janet marie When you look in the mirror... Wish you were somebody else Just a perfect reflection You and no one else... Minutes run into hours Hours run into days You're still waiting for someone Who never ever came... Go and run through the hallways Find your way to the door You will end up like always Back where you were before...
