We played through the night as the cards fell just right the aces came and called again and queens of all kinds were thrown my way the twos only stayed well at bay My hands were grand and all the lands were mine to give away yet i won against the odds every card touched by god the lady stayed by my side as the reds and blacks collide my very soul was on the ride tens and twos ace and queen it was all i could do not to win But with all that luck And all the days i forgot to eat and was lost to sleep and my health slipped away but i continued to play Night and day the cards they lay as my soul slowely dripped away till on the eve of the 7th day i finaly lost and my heart gave way that was my final greatest day Pride of place in the human race goes to one without a trace, of subtlety style ego or grace for this position, I wish to say, i would be proud as i am greater than any other face in the crowd |

great rhyme flow in this one Walt... and of course theres the moral to the story... very fine work...JM "...we were born before the wind...also younger than the sun... and my heart you have won...as we sailed into the mystic... I just want to rock your gypsy soul- just like in the days of old... and together we will float-into the mystic... Van Morrison |

Walter, this is evidence of how addicting gambling can be! It's an interesting perspective that you enjoyed it until your final "greatest" day. If you ever have read Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series, I dare say that you have ta'veren luck because Matrim Cauthon had that same luck you had with gambling. |
