Your hand reaches across space and time, To comfort me, Your words of rhyme, beauty sublime, They speak to me. A gentle touch, a loving caress, I look into your eyes, A gentle smile, words unspoken, You alone can calm my cries. A soul bathed in beauty, In touch with yourself and beyond, As I go under again, It is for your love that I long. But all my hopes are fallacy, All dreams not a reality, Inner peace where can it be? Is there no way out of this for me? If I could have but one wish, One wish to come true for me, When my time to leave this world has come, Yours would be the last loving face I see. isis, *hugs* great poem. we all have that simple wish. but alas no matter how simple a wish may be, attaining it is the hardest thing. and the way my life has been going the only thing that i will look at when i die is my guitar.  i hope that i can find a true love and finaly be happy but it looks like it will never find that. it will be just me and my guitar wandering down the road like always. *sigh* great poem my friend. *hugs*Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel is just a frieght train coming your way... Hi Isis, I found this to be nice to read, because it speaks strongly of finding the friend that is always there for you. When I read this and observed further, it made sense that when someone writes a piece like this, it is usually because they know they will have times when they must confront reality alone.
