WHAT PAIN IS THIS ? What pain is this, as searing daggers, tearing me apart? What pain is this, that leaves me weak and trembling from the start? Is this the pain of love I feel? A love whose life must end ? Or is this blinding agony -The Gods, as they pretend? What pain is this, as searing daggers, tearing me apart? "This is the pain" The Gods have said, "Of the breaking of your heart" Jocelyn Galvano-Pickett 2/9/2000 |

gypsy..sorry for the pain..but the poem is great...very Shakespeare and gothic like... janet marie "...she said I dont know if I've ever been good enough...I'm a little bit rusty...and I feel like my head is caving in, and I dont know if I've ever been really loved- by a hand thats touched me, and I feel like somethings gonna give...and I'm a little bit angry... Well...this aint over..NO not yet...not while I still need you around"... matchbox 20 |

Good use of repitition. I like the ending. Jannel "I'm just saying that we've mistaken one for thousands of words, and for that mistake I've caused you such pain that I damn that word." -10000 Maniacs "Jezebel" |
