Forever I was promised forever Forever is a lie that I now see You don't belong to me sweet lie I never knew love could make YOU blind Forever was the lie to cover that up Forever could clear the lie, and my eyes Forever was a way to make me yours You took it like the air you breathe Making it impossible for my heart to love again I was taken advantage of... It's too bad that one person abuses important words and lessons the importance of those words when spoken sincerely by another. Sometimes I think choosing a man is like picking out a tomato at the store: Don't just grab the first one, it may be hiding imperfections. Look over several and learn to spot good qualities before you slice it open. Sorry to ramble. I enjoyed your poem and hope that you can believe in forever again, it's out there. Good writing! Danny |

it's sad when people use "forever" when all they want is this short while... That was very expressive... see you around. you don't have to understand completely..to love completely... remember even the darkest night has a morning to meet...you'll understand someday..Avanti Rao |
