The Battle

My eyes snap open,
I find myslef in a pool of tears
It's hard to breathe 'cause the end is near
I open my windoe
And crawl outside
As I look up at the stars I see only your eyes
A blank picture enters my mind
Humanity is blind
It has never played a role in my life
The battle has just begun
I have no way to run
No way to hide
I had no ententions to do that
Come little children hide from your greatest fears
The battle is here
It is unspoken
The scares are not shown to the eyes
If you look close you could see I'm about to cry
For this battle is not flesh or blood
Not for the ears
Or for my eyes
My mind is racing looking for the answer
My soul it's sword in hand...

well done. the battles within are the hardest to fight. but yeild the greatest rewards.

Something has to change. An undeniable dilemma. But I am not a burden anyone should bear.

Be ever valiant with the inner battles, for when you have victory then you reap the rewards.  Well done, great imagery..

Let your heart guide you. It whispers, so listen closely.

..."when you walked into the room...I saw their faces---
did you know--you made it seem like time was standing still...
and I felt---fascination...though I only knew you then--just casually...
then you slowly turned and smiled in my direction...
and my heart gave me away"....

Do you ever worry replying to often makes you repeat yourself

that you end up writeing the same things over and over again do what i do add a little poem on the bottom of replies (a pertinent to the main poem peice is always good

brilliant poem by the way.

When my sword lies shattered by my side
and all around my friends have died
and blood pours from my eyes then the battle has lost all pride.

When the darkness with you rides when your hearts explodes inside and you no-longer recognise those who fight by your side then the battle is lost, so hide.

Pride of place in the human race goes to one without a trace,
of subtlety style ego or grace for this position, I wish to say, i would be proud as i am greater than any other face in the crowd

Great poem.  What a wonderful expression of those personal battles that no one else sees.
