HAUNTED Your caresses keep creeping from behind... I’m amidst darkness…that adheres closely... Like you once did…with your arms around... There’s this feeling in the room... It ‘s like you’re somewhere here... Haunted by you...is the room I live in... As I turn around...there’s a silhouette calling... I refuse to advance...it disappeared the last time. It sends a sparkle...to the corner of my room... The images brighten...still all is dark... I see us dancing ... on the night of 8th... Haunted by you...your light and darkness... I’m still and watching...forever tonight... The sparkle begins to waltz around... I sense it’s time for you to leave... Is it the bed that’s not done your way...? Out from my window...into the luminous moon... Still the music is playing... Haunted by you…any room I’ll live in... Dedicated to any love that started on 8th February you don't have to understand completely..to love completely... remember even the darkest night has a morning to meet...you'll understand someday... It's interesting what things haunt us about lover's we've had. and the haunting doesn't necessarily mean bad. Anyway, enjoyed your poem. DH |
