I'll be there

At first,
I had my doubts
about you.
Whether you were even real...
or too good to be true.

As time went on,
I grew comfortable
with you.
Learned your faults,
and saw that you were real,
and very much human.

Now I see
that you and me
were meant to be.
Through day in and day out,
you were there for me,
even when I didn't believe.
And now, to return it,
I'll be there...

I loved this poem! It reminds me so much of a certain someone.
