To death ...did you do me...? To smiling thoughts...that hurried by... To whispering words...that faded soft... To fleeting time...i tried to stop... To tears...that flow from deep within... To death...did you do me? Still many a times i gazed below ... From high above where your love once lifted me... To darker nights...with stars so few... To timeless thoughts...of painful deeds... To death...did you do me? My wandering thoughts...they drifted so far... All reached your heart...that flung them my way... To touches that touched my soul so deep To words that echo...in empty ears... To death...did you do me? Through hope and patience...in all it's forms... To untimely happenings... that you embraced... To haunting memories...that reside in souls... To hours of lonliness...that lead to solitude... To death you did me still somehow...i'am not done... Even the darkest night has a morning to meet... |

Avanti, another emotionally beautiful poem, and I see by the hour of your post you get inspired in the late hours of the nite, so do I...my best work seem to come when I'm suppose to be sleeping...but I will take sweet inspiration when ever it comes...(smile) take care, janet marie Some things cannot be explained by verses that rhyme, They are not measured by the commitment of time.
