Venus the pain is not always worth it but it may create a blindness to all the happy and joyful things behind it.

Hey Venus this is very nice. I think you would have a hard time finding someone to say yes the pain is worth it. I would be interested to hear there explanation if you get a positive response. I know that pain teaches us lessons. I have a suggestion for a title, I know you didn't ask, but here it is anyway..."Love and pain" James

Sometimes the pain was worth it...Sometimes it wasn't...But in the end, it made you stronger...Great poem!

i think it depends on what kind of pain is being caused, and how severe. i think i would have to agree with keli.

Something has to change. An undeniable dilemma. But I am not a burden anyone should bear.

Great use of few words. My answer would be that continuous pain is rarely worth it, because love's purpse is to take away the pain that the world causes us, not to add more.
