Tingling power
crawls
through my veins
in a maddening
rush
itching
at my skin
with the gnawing
of cancerous
vermin
eating
at the
quivering heart
of one
sunk deep
into
the mysteries
of death.

Arms outstretched
in a paean
to Decay,
I call my children
from graves
moldering
with the intensity
of entropy,
maggots dropping
with the patter
of raindrops
on the dead leaves
littering
the unholy ground
writhe
in a stark white
against
the brown of rot

Like whipped dogs
they come
creeping
to my insipid
command
hellspawn
one and all
Rising
like mist
from a fetid swamp
my power
climbs
into the night
calling
the damned
and dead
to my
embrace

I touch
their gelid bodies
feeling
the flutter of reason
within them
struggling
to be redeemed
in the Light
with the kiss
of my power
granting them
a measure
of cold peace
their tormented souls
are freed
returning
empty husks
to the soured earth
my power crawls
back into me
as I rejoice
in love
for the dead
I am
the
Necromancer

What an overwhelming piece here, and quite evilishly grim with a tinge of eroticism...wow! What a combo! You should be bored more often than not !!! Great piece here !!
