I've seen the world through the condor's eyes,
Such beauty to behold,
The memories of soaring in the blue,
Will stay with me until I'm old.

I've swum the deepest oceans,
Amidst the dolphins and whales,
Oh the stories I could tell,
Such joyous ocean tales.

I've roamed with the wild wolf's pack,
My place destined in their society,
Sharing in their mournful cry,
That yearning was a part of me.

I rode the fabled Pegasis,
Through the stormy sky,
He shared with me life's mysteries,
He too is not ashamed to cry.

I spoke with the Unicorn King,
His wisdom he did bestow,
He's right. All of life is magical,
If you don't live it, you'll never know.

I sat with the Loon Bird,
He cried mournfully all the while,
Looking for his lost love,
Without her, never again could he smile.

All these animals have wisdom,
Much more so than our own,
Perhaps if we follow their example,
The world could be our home.

I loved this poem! This is sooo cool. I love the idea. I would have never thought of such a great idea! You are very gifted in the poetry department!

Great idea! I think about unicorns and pegases (however you spell it) all the time but never thought about writing about one of them...better yet both!
